EMPLOYMENT
Position: Public Safety Officer
Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Candidates must be certified by New York State, possess good communication skills, be well-groomed, and willing to work outdoors in the Midtown Manhattan area.
Salary: Starting pay is $10 per hour with full benefits.
Schedule: All candidates must be able to work rotating days off including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities: Candidates will patrol by foot in uniform. Duties include observing and reporting crime, handling quality of life situations, special events and assisting the public.

Position: Part-Time Tourist Greeter
Requirements: Candidates should be fluent in at least one other language aside from English. Candidates who speak French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, or Spanish are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be high school graduates and be willing to make at least a six-month commitment. Candidates should possess good general knowledge of the City of New York, specifically public transportation, points of interest, retail stores, and landmarks. Candidates should be outgoing, well groomed, and must enjoy working with people.
Salary: The starting pay is $10 per hour.
Schedule: All candidates must be able to work a minimum of two weekday shifts (8:30 am - 5:30 pm), one weekend shift (9 am - 6 pm),and one evening shift (12 pm - 9 pm or 5 pm - 9 pm).
Responsibilities: The position includes greeting tourists and New Yorkers in and around Grand Central Terminal, offering directions, free brochures and sharing information on major tourist attractions and events.
