Celebrate Summer in Midtown!

Every summer, the warm air of Midtown Manhattan is filled with the sounds of music as GCP’s 10-week concert series “Celebrate Summer in Midtown,” enlivens a number of open-air plazas in the heart of the Grand Central neighborhood.

All of the lunch-hour concerts, held from the beginning of June through the end of August, are free and open to the public. Concert attendees are treated to a range of musical styles and performers – from Salsa and Reggae to Blues and Jazz to Soul and Rock n’ Roll – all of which will provide the soundtrack for another fun summer in Midtown.

The entire 2011 summer concert series schedule is listed below, and music lovers can also pick up a brochure listing the concerts at GCP’s I LOVE NY – Grand Central Information window on the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal or at one of GCP’s sidewalk information carts located throughout Midtown Manhattan.

The 2011 concert series is produced by GCP with the generous support of Coca-Cola; TheaterMania.com; H.J. Kalikow & Co., LLC; L&L Holding Company, LLC; Boston Properties; and Saint Peter’s Church.

The “Cool Music for Warm Summer Days” series at 345 Park Avenue is presented by Rudin Management Company.
